Hi Tina, 

If you recall we have the "share" dog and take our battery out when Rocky is not here.  However, our son has been traveling a lot and Rocky has been here quite a bit.  We are in love with the fence.  He just romps everywhere, chasing squirrels and fully loving the freedom.  It is amazing how well he knows his boundaries.
